Karl Ewoldt of Indianapolis earned his sixth Brickyard Crossing Men's Club Championship on Aug. 9, with a two-round score of 147.

Ewoldt, a member of the course maintenance staff at Brickyard Crossing, shot rounds of 69 and 78 to win by seven strokes over Jim Hissam and Rick Belden.

The club championship is a two-day event, with flights determined by handicap. The first day is a net competition, with the 20 low gross scores competing on the second day for the Club Championship.

The Brickyard Crossing Senior Club Championship will be contested Saturday, Sept. 26. For information on joining the Men's or Women's Club at Brickyard Crossing, call the Golf Shop at (317) 492-6417.

Brickyard Crossing, the 18-hole, Pete Dye-designed championship public course on the grounds of the world-famous Indianapolis Motor Speedway, has received accolades from esteemed golf magazines for its design, natural setting and variety of challenging holes.
